Success Camp

The Success Camp program is specifically for youth ages 6 years to 17 years old who partake in five day long "Success Camps." These camps aim at providing the children and youth with a positive growth experience where they can challenge themselves and acquire new skills.

All camp activites are based on the Medicine Wheel, which provides a model for living, which is effective and easily understood. Participants are encouraged to attend four success camps, each one building on the prior camps. Each camp offers greater challenges and opportunities to grow.

Although the issues dealt with can be intense the goal is to provide a fun atmosphere, where the campers enjoy themselves and look forward to the next camp. Typical activities include cultural activities (sweats, smudge, crafts) and outdoor events (canoeing, snow shoeing, hiking, etc.), workshops, talking circle and games.
