Crystal Verhaeghe, Executive Director

Crystal, a member of the Alexandria Band (?Esdilagh), has worked with the Tsilhqot'in National Government since November 2006.

In 2006, Crystal graduated from the University of Northern BC with a Masters of Business Administration. Prior to her Masters Crystal received a degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurial Studies from Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta.

Crystal began her employment with the Tsilhqot'in National Government as the Economic Development Coordinator. In 2008 she obtained the position of Executive Director.

Trudi Frost, Executive Assistant & Indian Registry

As the Executive Assistant & Indian Registry Administrator (IRA) since February 2000 at the T?ilhqot’in National Government Trudi is able to renew paper laminated status cards five days a week. Periodically Trudi is visiting communities to issue status cards in Xeni Gwet’in, Tsi Deldel or Tl’etinqox.

She is now certified to issue the new Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) from Indian & Northern Affairs Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency, when they become available. There was a delay which moved the roll out date to Fall 2010 to only the Regional Offices. There was no mention of when the IRA’s would become involved.

 

 

Cecily Billyboy, Receptionist

Cecily is a member of Tl'etinqox-t'in Government Office (Anaham Band). She started work as a Receptionist for Tsilhqot’in National Government in May 2007. 

Cecily really loves and enjoys working with the Tsilhqot’in Nation; She feels that it is a privilege to be a part of events, workshops, trainings and meetings, and she finds that she is always busy working with all that it going on and running our yearly events and volunteering where it is needed.

If you have any concerns or questions please call or come in and see Cecily anytime, she will make sure you get what you need or direct you to the right person.
